Nikki Diamond (Scorpio)
Nikki Diamond is a partner in Chun Ming Dao Martial Arts Association and also a very experienced instructor for the school.
Nikki comes from a life time of competitive sports ranging from Gymnastics as young girl. She then moved to body building and competed at a high level. In 1992 Nikki was picked for the TV series Gladiators and was very successful as Scorpio for 10 years.
Nikki Diamond also won Miss Isle of Man where she was born. She was then picked to enter Miss World.
Nikki moved to London as a young woman and became an actor and model, she has appeared in many TV shows and films.
The experience Nikki brings to the Chun Ming Dao School after many years training is palpable and she is friendly and approachable. Her Martial Teaching skills are excellent. Whether she is teaching children or adults she creates a calm and disciplined environment for her students.
Nikki is also a personal trainer in general fitness, developing muscle mass or weight loss. She offers diet and nutritional advice to aid all kinds of training. Weight training is Nikki’s forte bringing a life time of experience to help sculpt the perfect body.
I have to say I love all the training Neil and I do together but the thought of running up and down Boxhill was the most daunting. I am a sprinter, I don’t do long distance, I have explosive energy and so the excuses went on in my head for about half a second then I told myself to shut up and get on with it. The mind is a funny thing it can put so many obstacles in our way and make us doubt ourselves but guess what I am, apparently a long distance runner as well as a sprinter all I needed to do was to push myself and get a swift kick up the backside from my Shifu and I am loving it.
